The Nexus Module invites health and social service providers to consider the intersections of trauma, violence, substance use stigma, and chronic pain; reflect on your own assumptions and potential for biases; and consider the perspectives of people experiencing both substance use stigma and pain. You will also be provided with suggestions on how you can prevent, reduce and mitigate vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue/burn out and moral distress.
