Course 3: Environmental Assessment, Strategy Creation, and Sustainability Reporting-Spring 2024

This course is part of the UBC Micro-certificate in Environmental Metrics for Sustainability Reporting. The course will encourage students to think critically across disciplines, by encouraging a holistic approach to solving sustainability challenges.

Among the skills students will obtain after successfully completing the course are:

·        Students will be able to apply their understanding of environmental metrics with hands-on activities to effectively assessing and quantifying environmental impacts.

·        Design and create dashboards that visually represent complex environmental data, enabling informed decision-making and progress tracking.

·        Develop comprehensive sustainability strategies that align with business objectives while integrating environmentally responsible practices.

·        Communicate company's sustainability efforts through effective reporting, showcasing their commitment to stakeholders.
