Creating Asynchronous Learning Activities in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences
Self-paced
Full course description
Asynchronous learning activities (ALAs) are activities of high production and educational value that replace and complement synchronous curricular elements, resulting in hybrid delivery within the curriculum. ALAs are designed with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles and will combine media assets, interactive activities, and low/no-stakes formative assessments.
This course provides a systematic approach along with helpful resources and contacts for creating ALAs in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. You can approach this course flexibly depending on your projects goals and current experiences using educational technology and applying UDL in your learning activities.
