Full course description
Accredited: 1 CEU. Allergic rhinitis is a common condition that is frequently ignored, underdiagnosed, misdiagnosed and mistreated. Many patients will often self-select OTC products for treatment, which can lead to prolonged symptoms, adverse effects, and poor clinical outcomes. This session will review the pathophysiology and therapeutics of allergic rhinitis, and outline a systematic approach to assessing and treating patients presenting with this condition. The goal is to provide pharmacists with the knowledge to confidently diagnose and recommend treatment for patients with allergic rhinitis symptoms.
