Accredited: 1 CEU. Attitudes and expectations around the use of opioids and benzodiazepines have changed significantly over the past 5-10 years and many patients and prescribers are struggling with the need for dosage reductions. Community pharmacists are in a unique position to help. This presentation provides patient-educational principles and collaborative tools to enable pharmacists to help initiate, support, and sustain medication taper plans.
