COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course equips the participant to ship or receive infectious substances associated with bio-medical, research, animal units. Participants will learn to properly label, document and package dangerous goods for road or air transport. Emphasis is placed on the handling of diagnostic specimens, biological products, genetically modified organisms and dry ice.
COURSE STRUCTURE:
This 3.5 hour course is delivered entirely in-person on Point Grey Campus.

COURSE REFUND:
A course refund will not be provided in any of the following situations
- The student has attended a practical session/live training
- Where there is no live component, the student has finished the course and received a certificate
- For courses that have no online component, the request for cancellation has to be received a minimum of 24 hours before the session starts
