Microcertificate designed to teach to the gap between technical and business decision-making in the mining industry 

The Economic Leadership for Mining program teaches core business skills for interacting with major technological, economic, and sustainable innovations inside the mining industry. In a world where having an economically sustainable impact is becoming a core priority driving project management, this 4-month program is designed to boost your professional career by teaching you how to lead diverse teams and organizations while addressing new challenges in the industry.

The program’s format is based on live discussion and debate. Our team teaches you how to structure and present an economic case for projects using sustainability, mineral processing, exploration, and financial modeling tools. Our instructors focus on applying knowledge through interactive approaches, such as professional experience, modeling, research, and informed debates. Our goal is to provide practical tools to help you solve everyday challenges across silos.

The Bradshaw Research Institute for Minerals and Mining works to promote diversity inside the mining industry. By advocating for gender equity and local empowerment, our program strives to increase the enrollment of historically marginalized professionals in the industry. BRIMM has awarded more than 500 scholarships to students across 49 countries, and established a partnership with Women In Mining USA.

The BRIMM Executive Microcertificate for Leadership in Mining offers a gateway to management roles for sustainability-oriented projects in the industry. Our program has incentivized students to advance their respective careers while promoting conscious executive leadership.
